At Heaton Park we are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils, so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school. If bullying does occur, all pupils should be able to tell an adult in school or at home or a friend and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively.
We positively encourage all pupils to take responsibility for their behaviour and its consequences and to make a commitment to take action to end bullying and provide support for the bullied pupil.
If you believe that your child or another child is being bullied, please do not hesitate to contact school and discuss your concerns with your child’s class teacher initially. If, after that meeting, you believe it is continuing please make an appointment to discuss your concerns with the Deputy Headteacher or the Headteacher.
