Year 1

Year 1 is another exciting year for the children of our school! We love to learn through a range of hands on experiences, as well as developing children’s social and team building skills. The children really enjoy our forest school activities and our topics which include: Marvellous Me, Hot and Cold, Pirates, Wonderful Weather, Our Green World and Castles.

We encourage our children to be the best they can be and promote their self-confidence through positive praise and by creating a safe, nurturing and happy learning environment for them to flourish and grow.
